Busy Little Brains. (4-7 years)

Level one

  • The children are introduced to the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they represent through various activities, worksheets, stories, poems and DVDs.
  • They simultaneously begin a reading programme wherein they learn to read single words, couplets, short phrases and finally sentences and books.
  • The reading programme is based on the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia.

Level two

  • The children continue with the reading programme.
  • They are introduced to the world of numbers up to 100.
  • They learn simple addition and subtraction with answers up to 100 in gradual stages.

Level three

  • The programme is designed to further develop the children’s Maths and English skills.
  • The children are taught addition with carry over.
  • Subtraction with borrowing.
  • Multiplication.
  • Word problems.
  • Essay writing.
  • Reading comprehension.
  • Worksheets are done to develop the child’s reading skills.

Class is conducted once a week for an hour and thirty minutes.
