  • Laveena Mitha is an early childhood educationist who has been teaching since 1994.
  • She ranked first in her college in the early childhood care and education programme
  • Laveena has trained at the JB Petit High School for Girls and at the Bombay International School
  • She taught at the Cathedral and John Connon Infant School for five years.

Zendin Shroff, headmistress of the Cathedral Infant School says, “Laveena uses innovative methodologies to teach, takes great pains over each child and is able to guide each child to reach his or her own potential. She is an efficient and a very creative teacher. The children are extremely fond of her.”

Vijaya Gupchup, ex headmistress of the Cathedral Infant School says, "Laveena is a conscientious and diligent teacher and there is evidence of much preparation and thought behind her lessons. She motivates the children and uses innovative methods of teaching. She teaches phonics extremely well.”

In the year 2000, Laveena started her own after school activity classes for children.
